Excel 1.0 - To make navigation easier when working on a large worksheet - break up the worksheet into logical parts and use the Define Name function from the Formula menu to define each part.  They you can use Go To ... command from the Formula menu to go to any part of the worksheet you've defined.  Try using the Border command from the Format menu to draw boxes around the Named Ranges to make them easier to see.
